Kanye West Declares Drake “A Million Times” Better Than Kendrick Lamar
Renowned rapper Kanye West has sparked debate in the hip-hop community by declaring that Drake is “a million times better” and more culturally significant than Kendrick Lamar.
In a recent interview with DJ Akademiks, West acknowledged Lamar’s perceived victory over Drake in their ongoing rap feud but insisted that the Canadian superstar’s global influence far outweighs that of the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper.
“One thing is, Drake is a million times better than Kendrick and a million times more important [to the hip-hop world],” West stated.
He further compared Drake’s impact on hip-hop culture to that of Future and Young Thug, two artists widely credited with shaping the genre’s modern sound.
“What Future and [Young] Thug have done is what Drake culturally is. That sh*t was insane, bro. It’s universal,” West added.
His remarks have fueled fresh discussions among fans and industry insiders about the ongoing Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar debate, which has intensified following recent lyrical exchanges between the two rap giants.
