Rihanna Sends a Group of Grandmothers Flowers After They Went Viral Recreating Her Super Bowl Performance in Hilarious TikTok

Rihanna reached out to a group of Kentucky grandmothers after they went viral posting a hilarious recreation of Rihanna’s Super Bowl LVII performance.

As reported on Daily Mail, the women of the Kentucky Arcadia Senior Living Facility achieved TikTok fame with their 12-second video that showed ladies in white stepping to the side to reveal their ‘Rihanna’ dressed in all-red to recreate the singer’s look from the big game.

While Rihanna did not comment on the clip she revealed that she’d be shown the video after sending a bouquet of flowers to the facility, calling the dance ‘amazing’.

Attached to a giant bouquet of white roses was a message that read: ‘You ladies dance was amazing. Love Roc Nation. Rihanna.’

Jay Z, the founder of her record label, also reached out with a bunch of red roses and a message: ‘We love the TikTok here at Roc Nation.’

Speaking to BuzzFeed News about the gifts, the center’s director of community relations Paige Oakes confessed: ‘We were just in shock.’

‘This whole time, we’ve just been waiting for a response from Rihanna — not really thinking that it would ever happen because we know she’s busy and we didn’t really know if she saw it or not.
‘It made our day knowing that it reached her and she got to watch it and enjoy seeing our residents dancing to her music and having fun.’

The ladies initially shared their video to the app on February 23, writing: ‘Our halftime show > Rihanna’s halftime show.’

The internet seemingly agreed with their sentiment, immediately skyrocketing the video to viral status in a matter of hours.

The TikTok has surpassed three million likes and received thousands of comments wishing them well.

Three of the dancers in the video recently sat down with Fox & Friends and explained how they came up with the idea and how they were given their parts.

Pat, Dora and Sue – three of the dancers – told the Fox host their social director had come up with the idea and pitched it to the group.

The sprite ladies were more than willing to give it a try.

Dora, who played ‘Rihanna,’ said she thinks she was chosen for a couple of reasons.

‘I think I had the biggest swing,’ she said, as Pat and Sue joked it was just because Dora had the red outfit to fit the role.

Sue, who blows the kiss at the beginning, said she showed it to her family and they loved the idea and the execution.

Pat’s family agreed, and she said her daughters called her ‘bold’ for participating.

The comments of the viral video were flooded with similar praise for the elderly women who have not let old age stop them from having fun.

This isn’t their viral video, however, as they have been making content for weeks and are already on their way to becoming full-blown ‘influencers.’

The Arcadia Senior Living Facility currently has more than 114,000 followers on TikTok.
