Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat was left stunned during a recent broadcast after receiving an unexpected direct message from global superstar Rihanna.
The 23-year-old content creator, known for his high-energy reactions, was live on stream when he revealed that Rihanna had reached out to him via Instagram. Overwhelmed with excitement, Cenat leapt from his seat, shouted in disbelief, and ran around his room before breaking into a rendition of Rihanna’s hit song Diamonds.
“This is crazy. This is insane,” he said after eventually calming down.
Rihanna had responded to a recent video of Cenat giving out free pizza to young fans. In her message, she wrote: “Kaaaaaaiii!!! I love this.” She followed up with: “I know you do this all the time but the kids, they genuinely love you. Great job all around man.”
Cenat then shared the message with viewers, beaming with pride as he read her words aloud.
The video Rihanna referenced shows two young fans recognizing Cenat at a pizza restaurant and telling him they watch his YouTube videos. Moved by their excitement, he offered to cover their meal, resulting in a wholesome moment that went viral on social media.
This isn’t the first time Cenat has been on Rihanna’s radar. He previously shared that her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, sent him a holiday gift package. However, the contents – Puma gear – clashed with Cenat’s endorsement deal with Nike.
“Damn A$AP, I’m Nike!” Cenat said during that stream. “I can’t have no Puma! Come on, man. Shout out A$AP though.”
