Samsung Teams Up with Netflix to Deliver Enhanced Picture Quality with HDR10+

Samsung Electronics has announced a new partnership with Netflix aimed at elevating the viewing experience through the integration of HDR10+ technology into the streaming giant’s content.

The collaboration will see Netflix’s catalogue of shows and movies optimised for Samsung’s HDR10+ across its 2025 lineup of Neo QLED, OLED, and Lifestyle TVs, as well as selected 2024 and 2025 monitor models.

Taeyong Son, Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display Business, said the move represents a push toward more immersive and vivid home entertainment. “HDR10+ enhances the way we watch content, delivering deeper contrast and more vibrant colours for a truly cinematic experience,” he said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to extend this technology to Netflix’s massive global audience and will continue working with partners to broaden support across our ecosystem.”

HDR10+, developed by Samsung, is an advanced high dynamic range format that fine-tunes brightness and contrast levels on a scene-by-scene basis. The result is sharper detail, improved colour accuracy, and visuals that better reflect the creator’s original vision.

With the integration, Netflix subscribers using supported Samsung TVs and monitors will benefit from a richer, more lifelike picture across a growing selection of compatible content. The update is part of Samsung’s wider initiative to make HDR10+ more accessible through collaborations with content platforms and technology partners.

The rollout marks a significant step forward in Samsung’s commitment to redefining home entertainment standards while continuing to shape the future of television technology.
