Produced by Mike Brainchild, the song is a sultry mix of Afrobeats, R&B, and pop, and features both artists offering their sides of a strained relationship. Speaking on Capital XTRA Breakfast, David shared the inspiration behind the collaboration. “It’s about what happens when love gets tough – past the romantic highs,” he explained. When the team brainstormed who could bring balance to the song, Savage’s name came up unanimously. “Tiwa Savage!” David recalled with excitement. “She came back so graciously… She said even if the track wasn’t great, she’d still have jumped on it. That’s love.”
