Spotify Reveals Most-Streamed Nigerian Songs Globally for 2024
Spotify has announced the top Nigerian songs with the most global streams for the first half of 2024, highlighting the growing international influence of Afrobeats.
The streaming giant released its Global Impact List, showcasing the 30 Nigerian tracks that garnered the highest number of listens outside Nigeria between January 1 and June 30, 2024.
Female artists like Ayra Starr and Tems lead the list, thanks to their latest album releases. The list also underscores the significance of international collaborations, with eight of the top ten tracks featuring global superstars. Notable collaborations include Pheelz with Usher and Burna Boy with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin, illustrating the wide-reaching appeal of Nigerian music.
