Taylor Swift Announces New Eras Tour Dates in Europe, Australia and Asia

Pop superstar Taylor Swift has announced new concert dates for her Eras Tour, expanding her performances across Asia, Australia, and Europe until summer 2024.

The tour, initially comprising over 50 dates, has now grown to more than 100, with the international leg commencing in Mexico City in August this year, followed by a break until November when stadium shows will resume.

Swift’s Asian tour will begin in February next year, starting with four nights at Japan’s Tokyo Dome, followed by visits to Melbourne, Sydney, and Singapore. The European leg will commence in May with two shows in Paris, concluding at London’s Wembley Stadium on August 17, 2024.

Despite some initial challenges, including a lawsuit against Ticketmaster over alleged antitrust violations, the Eras Tour is expected to be highly successful and could potentially make Swift one of the highest-earning artists of all time.

Estimates suggest the tour could generate an additional $500 million on top of Swift’s already impressive net worth, with positive economic impacts observed in cities hosting her concerts, such as increased ticket sales and hotel reservations.

The recent Pittsburgh shows set a new attendance record for the venue, with 73,117 fans present at the Acrisure Stadium for the tour’s second show in the city.
