Taylor Swift Unveils ‘I Can See You’ Music Video

Shortly after the release of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version),” Taylor Swift surprised her Kansas City concert audience by debuting the Easter-egg filled music video for “I Can See You,” which she wrote and directed herself. The video features Joey King, Taylor Lautner, and Presley Cash, tying back to Swift’s “Speak Now” era and symbolizing her fans’ support in reclaiming her music.

During the Eras Tour stop in Kansas City on July 7, Swift invited Lautner, Cash, and King onstage to introduce the video, where Lautner praised Swift’s talent and character, expressing his admiration and gratitude towards her.

In the music video, the trio of actors work together to help Swift escape from a literal vault, embodying the metaphorical journey of reclaiming her music with the assistance of her fans. Swift shared behind-the-scenes images on Instagram, expressing her excitement for the video and praising the performances of Joey King, Taylor Lautner, and Presley Cash.

Swift highlighted Lautner’s dedication to performing his own stunts in the action-packed video, and she expressed her pride in directing the fight scenes and heist storyline she had envisioned. The set photos also featured a playful re-creation of the Spider-Man meme with Lautner and his wife, Taylor Dome.

Both Dome and King expressed their admiration and appreciation for Swift, acknowledging her incredible talent, kindness, and down-to-earth nature. They emphasized the lasting impact she has had on their lives and their gratitude for her friendship.

Reflecting on the memorable night, King expressed her disbelief and gratitude for knowing Swift since childhood, while praising her as a magical and influential figure in her life.
