Done Deal: Barcelona Complete Signing of Vitor Roque
Multiple reports from Spain and Brazil confirm that Barcelona has finally completed the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Vitor Roque, with only the official announcement pending.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will pay an initial fee of 30 million euros, along with an additional 31 million euros in various variables. Vitor Roque is expected to sign his contract today, which will run until 2029, and he is set to join Barcelona in January 2024.
Sport also reports on Vitor Roque and suggests that the deal could extend until 2030, with the total fee potentially reaching 61 million euros.
In Brazil, the price tag has risen even further. Globo states that Barcelona has agreed to pay 74 million euros and mentions one of the add-ons relating to Vitor winning the Ballon d’Or.
Despite Barcelona’s ongoing financial problems, they are anticipated to announce Vitor’s signing shortly, indicating that they have successfully secured their desired player.
