Teenager Invites Drake to Her Sweet Sixteen Party with Billboard
A devoted teenage fan of the famous rapper Drake has taken a unique step to make her upcoming Sweet Sixteen party even more special. Miya Garcia, who resides in Houston, Texas, rented a billboard on the I-10 highway to personally invite Drake to her birthday celebration in Corpus Christi. The billboard message reads, “Drake, you’re invited to my Sweet Sixteen,” and it’s signed, “Your biggest fan, Miya.” The gesture has quickly gained attention on social media.
Miya Garcia expressed her love and admiration for Drake’s music and style in an interview with Fox 26 Houston. She said, “I love his music. I love his style. He’s really inspiring.” It was revealed that Miya’s mother provided the funds for the billboard.
While Miya Garcia is still awaiting a response from Drake, she has gained local notoriety for her creative invitation.
In other Drake-related news, the rapper celebrated his 37th birthday by announcing that he would be giving away free hot chicken sandwiches in collaboration with Dave’s Hot Chicken on October 24. Drake has a significant stake in Dave’s Hot Chicken, as he invested in the restaurant business after connecting with them when he wanted to cater a party celebrating his title as Billboard’s Artist of the Decade.
Arman Oganesyan, co-founder of Dave’s Hot Chicken, stated, “He has a large stake, and what we really want to do is just bring cool experiences to his fans and our customers. That’s the real main goal of the partnership.”
