The $900 Nike Hyperboot Is A Game Changer For Warm-Up And Recovery
Nike is introducing a game-changing product designed to enhance warm-up and recovery for athletes: the Nike Hyperboot. Developed in collaboration with health tech company Hyperice, this innovative wearable combines heat and compression to improve performance and recovery times.
The Nike Hyperboot uses dual-air Normatec bladders and warming elements that work together to drive heat deep into muscle tissue, promoting faster recovery. The boot molds to the foot for a secure and comfortable fit, ensuring optimal support while delivering targeted heat to the muscles.

Tobie Hatfield, Senior Director of Nike Athlete Innovation, explains that while recovery has long been a focal point for athletes, the concept of “pre-covery” has gained significant attention. “The Hyperboot helps get the body ready for activity, whether you’re competing or simply on your feet for long periods,” Hatfield says.

Early testing of the Hyperboot has been met with positive results. Athletes, including Sha’Carri Richardson and LeBron James, have praised the boots for their effectiveness. James, who has used the product in its development stages, shared his thoughts: “From the moment I tried the Nike x Hyperice boots and vest, I knew they would change the game for athletes’ warm-up and recovery.”
The Nike Hyperboot will be available in North America starting May 17, 2025, through Nike.com, Hyperice.com, and select retail partners such as DICK’S. Priced at $899, the Hyperboot promises to be a valuable tool for athletes looking to elevate their performance and recovery process.
