The Game Forced To Sell House To Cover $7 Million Judgement
Rapper The Game has been ordered by a judge to sell his luxury home in Calabasas, California, to help cover a $7 million court judgment awarded to a woman who accused him of sexual assault.
The decision stems from a lawsuit filed by Priscilla Rainey, who alleged that the artist—born Jayceon Taylor – sexually assaulted her during the filming of his 2015 VH1 reality dating show She’s Got Game. The Game did not appear in court to defend himself against the claims, leading to a default judgment in 2016.
Since then, Rainey has pursued various legal avenues to collect the court-ordered damages, including requesting the sale of the rapper’s mansion. The Game had argued that the property belonged to JTT Holdings, a company he claimed to only partially own. However, the court determined the company was a shell entity used to shield assets, clearing the way for the forced sale.
The Calabasas home is now listed for $4 million, falling well short of the amount owed. Despite having already collected close to $400,000 from The Game’s royalties, Rainey has continued her legal efforts to secure the full award, even hiring private investigators to serve court documents.
The rapper, known for hits like “Westside Story”, has denied the allegations from the start. In a 2016 Instagram post, he claimed Rainey fabricated the accusation after being removed from the show, insisting she would never receive a dime.
As of now, The Game has not publicly responded to the judge’s latest ruling.
