Timaya’s ‘Gladiator’ Album Release Delayed to July
Fans of Nigerian dancehall star Timaya will have to wait a bit longer for his highly anticipated album “Gladiator.” Initially set for release today, June 21st, the album’s drop date has been postponed to July 12th. Although the reason for the delay has not been officially disclosed, expectations remain high.
“Gladiator” promises to be a compelling compilation, building on the success of the lead single “Cold Outside” featuring BNXN, as well as this year’s hit collaboration with Tiwa Savage, “In My Head.”
This year marks nearly two decades since Timaya burst onto the music scene, playing a pivotal role in popularizing his unique style of Afrobeats. His influence can be seen in the work of other artists like Yemi Alade and Gucci, who have drawn inspiration from his groundbreaking sound.
