Filmone has released the official trailer for its upcoming drama-thriller Farmer’s Bride, featuring Tobi Bakre and Gbubemi Ejeye in leading roles. Set to hit cinemas on September 27th, the film explores themes of love, betrayal, and supernatural vengeance.

Directed by Adebayo Tijani and Jack’enneth Opukeme, Farmer’s Bride boasts an ensemble cast including Femi Branch, Mercy Aigbe, Efe Irele, and Wunmi Toriola.

The story is set in 1980s Ibadan and follows Funmi, a young woman forced into marriage with Odun, a wealthy but lonely farmer. Although she fulfills her duty as his wife, Funmi’s heart belongs to another, and her growing resentment sets the stage for a life-altering decision. Caught between loyalty and passion, Funmi faces a choice that could lead to devastating consequences.

The trailer promises a thrilling journey filled with emotional tension and intense drama, leaving audiences eager for the film’s release.
