Tragedy Strikes as Patoranking’s Sister and Husband Die in Home Explosion
A tragic explosion has claimed the lives of Chioma, the sister of popular Nigerian Afrobeats star Patoranking, and her husband, George. The devastating incident occurred at their residence, leaving Chioma dead on the spot, while George succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.
The heartbreaking news was shared by media personality Cutie Juls in an Instagram post on Thursday. According to the post, the explosion occurred shortly after the family had celebrated both a housewarming and their child’s birthday.
In the emotional post, Cutie Juls explained, “I mentioned last week that Patoranking’s sister died in a gas explosion at their home, and her husband and child were fighting for their lives in the hospital. Sadly, the husband has now passed away as well.”
She also revealed the singer’s immense efforts to save his brother-in-law, saying, “Patoranking did everything he could, even buying large amounts of blood to help, hoping to prevent his nephew from becoming an orphan.”
As of now, Patoranking and his management team have not publicly commented on the tragic loss.
