UK Artist Robby Law Accuses Davido of £15,000 Fraud Over Unreleased Collaboration
Afrobeats superstar Davido is embroiled in controversy once again, as UK-based artist Robby Law has accused him of fraud, claiming he was swindled out of £15,000 (approximately N28 million).
In a viral video, Robby Law alleged that he paid Davido the sum over four years ago for a collaborative track. Despite recording the song, Davido has yet to release it. Law further claimed that upon contacting Davido recently, he was asked to pay additional money to record new music, with Davido asserting that the old song was no longer viable.
In the emotional video, Robby Law expressed his frustration and disappointment with Davido’s actions, highlighting his ongoing struggle to get the song released.
This accusation adds to a series of recent controversies surrounding Davido. Portable, another artist, previously claimed that Davido used him for clout and gave him misleading advice. Additionally, Dammy Krane has accused Davido of owing him money.
These allegations continue to cast a shadow over Davido’s reputation, raising questions about his professional dealings within the music industry.
