UNICEF and Nigerian Stars Join Forces in “No More Zero Dose” Anthem to Promote Child Immunisation
UNICEF has launched an impactful new anthem titled No More Zero Dose, enlisting top Nigerian artists and actors to spread awareness on the critical need for child immunisation. The song features well-known Nigerian musicians, including Waje, Timi Dakolo, Omawumi, Spyro, and Qing Madi, alongside artists from Cameroon, Chad, Guinea, and Mali, emphasizing the anthem’s message across the continent.
Acclaimed Nollywood actors Kate Henshaw and Ali Nuhu also appear in the video, enhancing the campaign’s outreach and highlighting the urgency of the issue. Produced by renowned music producer Cobhams Asuquo, No More Zero Dose underscores the belief that every child has the right to a healthier future through timely immunisation.
UNICEF’s campaign aims to ensure no child is left without essential vaccines, emphasizing a shared commitment to public health and child safety across Africa.
