Mariah The Scientist Arrested Following Alleged Atlanta Nightclub Altercation

Atlanta-based singer Mariah The Scientist, known for her association with rapper Young Thug, has been arrested in connection with a nightclub brawl in Atlanta that reportedly left another woman injured.

The incident, which occurred at the Cavo Kitchen and Cocktail Lounge on March 29, involved Mariah, whose real name is Mariah Buckles, and another woman named Cleopatra Dues. Dues alleges that Mariah assaulted her, causing injuries to her legs, by grabbing her and forcefully removing her wig before dragging her around the bar.

Although the altercation was captured on video by bystanders, the identity of the individuals involved in the footage remains unconfirmed.

Dues, a rapper from Staten Island, expressed her intention to press charges against Mariah, stating that she was attacked without any prior interaction with the singer. Mariah was subsequently booked on a battery charge but was released on bond the same day.

Mariah has not publicly addressed the alleged incident at the nightclub.

This incident follows Mariah’s recent comments regarding her commitment to Young Thug, who is currently facing legal issues. Despite Thug’s ongoing YSL RICO trial, Mariah expressed her unwavering support for him, stating that she is willing to wait for him even if he faces a lengthy prison sentence.

In an appearance on Angela Yee’s Way Up With Angela Yee podcast, Mariah discussed the strength of their relationship, attributing their bond to the challenges they have faced together.

Earlier this year, an audio recording of Mariah and Young Thug conversing over a jail phone surfaced online, depicting Mariah expressing gratitude to Thug for gifting her jewelry and affectionately referring to him as “daddy.”
