However, Medusa’s comments were met with pushback from others who defended Alford and highlighted her connection to Compton, where she grew up alongside Kendrick. Drake also indirectly referenced Alford in his own diss track “Push Ups,” further fueling speculation and taunting Kendrick by wearing a Compton Community College shirt, where Alford allegedly attended.
