Social media activist VeryDarkMan has alleged that Naira Marley, the embattled Nigerian rapper and former label boss of the late singer Mohbad, admitted to owing the artist a significant sum of money before his untimely death.
In a video circulating online, VeryDarkMan revealed details of a conversation he had with Naira Marley, during which the rapper acknowledged the debt and explained the circumstances of their fallout. According to VeryDarkMan, Naira Marley disclosed that tensions began when Mohbad sought to work outside Marlian Music’s management and requested changes to his contractual arrangements.
“I asked Naira Marley why he isn’t publicly presenting evidence to clarify the situation,” VeryDarkMan stated. “He admitted he owed Mohbad money and explained the issues that arose between them, including Mohbad wanting to change the management provided by the label. However, he told me he’s leaving everything to God to fight his battles.”
