Why I Hid My Wife, Children From Social Media – Chinedu Ikedieze
Renowned Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, has shared the reasons behind his decision to maintain a private stance on his family when it comes to social media exposure.
The 45-year-old screen icon recently spoke about his approach during an interview with prominent media personality Chude Jideonwo. Aki revealed that his choice to refrain from showcasing his wife and children on social media is rooted in his desire to grant them a sense of freedom away from the spotlight.
In the interview, Aki expressed, “I have children, but I decided to put them aside because I’m the celebrity, they are not. I just want them to be free because the moment everybody gets to know them, it would affect them. And I don’t want that.”
He went on to elaborate on his decision, stating, “So, I hide them, even my wife, apart from our wedding announcement that I made, so that she can go to the market, do everything else without much ardor.”
Chinedu Ikedieze tied the knot with his beloved Nneoma Nwaijah in 2011, and the couple has been blessed with children. Despite their celebrity status, Aki has chosen to maintain the privacy of his family details, ensuring they can live their lives away from excessive public attention.
