Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Wizkid recently shared that if his music career hadn’t taken off, he would have pursued a career in football. The Nigerian superstar expressed his deep passion for the sport and his admiration for the discipline it requires.
In a candid reflection, Wizkid revealed that he was once part of his school’s football team but eventually shifted his focus to music due to his impatience and dislike for early morning training sessions. “If I wasn’t doing music, I would be playing football. I play football real good; I used to be in my school team,” he said.
