Diddy and Yung Miami

Yung Miami Explains How She ‘Bagged’ Diddy Despite Claims She Isn’t His ‘Type’

Yung Miami has offered insights into her relationship with Diddy, shedding light on their connection despite initial scepticism about fitting the image of someone in his sphere.

In an interview with Billboard, City Girls discussed their latest album, RAW. When the conversation veered toward the high-profile relationships of JT and Yung Miami, the latter addressed the intrigue around her involvement with the Bad Boy Records mogul.

Addressing the notion of not fitting into the perceived “type” associated with Diddy, Yung Miami shared, “I don’t know ’cause people say that I wasn’t Diddy type. But clearly, I am. So, I think that you just be yourself because people, they gravitate towards real. Like, so many people try to be something that they not.”

She emphasized the importance of authenticity, stating, “You just got to be yourself. I’m just myself. I’m just that b*, and that’s how you just bag a na.”

However, the relationship dynamics among the City Girls have seen some strain lately. Lil Uzi Vert recently disclosed that his relationship with JT “isn’t in the best shape,” following revelations about their public spat at the BET Awards earlier this year.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club, Yung Miami discussed her altercation with Uzi at the awards show, attributing it to a seating issue involving their friend Bari, while differing accounts suggested it revolved around Ice Spice seated next to Uzi.

Uzi addressed the situation on Instagram Stories, expressing his resolve not to let outside influences impede his path to happiness and musical success. He acknowledged feeling stressed and expressed a desire for a more normal life beyond the pressures of fame and wealth.

Despite the challenges, Uzi concluded his sentiments by posting a photo kissing JT and expressing gratitude, saying, “Thank you for sticking by me knowing I’m a weirdo at heart,” hinting at a continued connection amidst personal challenges.
