2Baba Declares Burna Boy Among Top 5 Global Music Artists
Nigerian music icon, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has proclaimed Burna Boy as one of the top five music artists in the world.
2Baba made this declaration while reacting to a video of Burna Boy performing his hit song “Last Last” at a European festival. He emphasized that his statement was made from a place of admiration and inspiration, reflecting on Burna Boy’s meteoric rise in the global music scene.
“Burna [Boy] is in the top 5 music artists in the world right now. I say this from an inspirational place; it was all a dream,” 2Baba wrote.
Burna Boy recently achieved the milestone of being the first African artist to sell out the London Stadium twice within a month. Additionally, he received a Brit plaque for becoming the first African singer to earn 2 billion streams in the United Kingdom, which was presented to him at his sold-out show at Koko Camden in London.
