50 Cent and Jelly Roll Lead Star-Studded Lineup for 2024 RodeoHouston

Hip-hop heavyweight 50 Cent and the dynamic Rap-to-Country artist Jelly Roll are set to headline the 2024 RodeoHouston, joining a stellar cast of performers including the Jonas Brothers, Lainey Wilson, Eric Church, Los Tigres del Norte, and Blake Shelton. The annual event, hosted at NRG Stadium, kicks off on February 27 and runs through March 17.

Rodeo president and CEO Chris Boleman expressed pride in the diverse musical genres featured on the RodeoHouston stage, welcoming both debut artists and fan-favorites spanning country roots, EDM, and hip-hop. Despite being a first-time performer, 50 Cent has previously made waves at the RodeoHouston, participating in the Uncorked! International Wine Competition in 2022.

The Uncorked! event saw 50 Cent and his company, Sire Spirits, making headlines by securing the Top Texas Wine, Hye Meadow Winery Boooom Red, Texas High Plains, 2017, for a staggering $125,000. Reflecting on the victory, the Power executive producer humorously noted, “So I finally won a bid at the wine auction; you’re a nobody till you win a bid at the wine auction.” The extravagant purchase showcased 50 Cent’s enthusiasm, especially given his history at the event.

In a lighthearted Instagram post, 50 Cent shared a moment from the auction, playfully suggesting that two gentlemen were sent over to ensure he paid for the wine. The post captured the rapper’s excitement, emphasizing the significance of winning a bid at the prestigious wine auction.

As the 2024 RodeoHouston approaches, anticipation is high for the unique blend of musical talents that will grace the stage, promising an unforgettable experience for fans of various genres.
