Adele Announces Break from Music
English singer Adele has revealed she will be stepping away from music to explore new creative endeavours. The announcement comes as the “Hello” singer plans to return to her home country after living in the United States for the past two years. Her residency in the U.S. is set to expire in November, prompting her move back to the UK.
During an interview with German broadcaster ZDF, Adele shared her intention to take an extended break from creating new music. “I don’t have plans for new music at all. I want a big break, and I think I want to do other creative things just for a little while,” she stated.
Adele, a 16-time Grammy winner, last released an album in 2021. The album, titled “30,” won British Album of the Year at the Brit Awards in 2022. Fans will have to wait for her return to the music scene as she focuses on other interests during her break from music.
