AMVCA 2025: Adedimeji Lateef, Uzor Arukwe, Chioma Chukwuka Among Nominees

The organisers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have unveiled the nominees for the 2025 edition, celebrating outstanding achievements in African filmmaking, acting, and content creation.

Among the notable Nigerian actors nominated are Adedimeji Lateef, Uzor Arukwe, and Chioma Chukwuka, who have been recognised for their exceptional performances over the past year.

Adedimeji Lateef earned a nomination for Best Lead Actor for his role in Lisabi, while Uzor Arukwe secured a spot in the Best Supporting Actor category for his performance in Suspicion.

Chioma Chukwuka was also nominated for Best Lead Actress for her role in Seven Doors.

The AMVCA remains one of the most prestigious awards in African entertainment, spotlighting talent across various categories in the film and television industry.
