Bayern Submit Final Offer of More Than €100M For Tottenham Star Kane

Tottenham Hotspur had until the end of Friday to decide whether to sell Harry Kane to Bayern Munich after receiving a last-ditch offer of more than €100 million for their star striker, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano and Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.

However, at the time of writing this, Spurs are yet to respond to Bayern’s last-ditch €100M offer of €100M For Kane.

Bayern reportedly have no intention of submitting another offer for Kane. The German club failed with previous bids of €70 million and €80 million.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy had apparently set Kane’s price at £100 million (€115 million) and had expressed hope the 30-year-old would sign a new deal.

However, Kane reportedly informed the club he won’t extend his contract, which expires at the end of the upcoming season.

If Tottenham decide against selling him in the summer or January transfer windows, he’ll have the right to leave the club on a free transfer.

Negotiating his exit to Bayern would at least prevent Spurs from losing him to a Premier League rival. Kane reportedly came close to joining Manchester City in 2021 after holding himself out of preseason training.

Kane hasn’t held out this time around. He started in each of Tottenham’s preseason friendlies during the club’s tour of Australia and Asia.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with England’s all-time leading scorer, but the player reportedly prefers to join the German champions.

Kane could earn up to £11 million annually at Bayern in base salary and bonuses, according to Sky Sports News.

Kane has scored 213 goals in 320 Premier League matches – 47 shy of tying Alan Shearer as the Premier League’s all-time leading scorer.
