Beyoncé Sets Record as Most RIAA-Certified Female Artist in History
Global music icon Beyoncé has officially become the most certified female artist of all time, according to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The milestone comes after a series of her songs and albums received new certifications, bringing her total RIAA-certified titles to an impressive 103.
The RIAA celebrated the achievement with a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “Crowning achievement! Congratulations to @Beyonce, who now holds the record for the most certified titles for a female artist in RIAA history, including her first two Diamond singles! @parkwood @columbiarecords.”
The accolade is underscored by Beyoncé earning Diamond certifications for two of her most iconic tracks – “Halo” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” Diamond status signifies over 10 million units sold in the United States, a rare and prestigious recognition.
In addition to these standout achievements, the RIAA also highlighted several of Beyoncé’s previous milestones. Her critically acclaimed album “Renaissance” earned 2x Platinum status, while “Lemonade” reached 4x Platinum. Her earlier records, “I Am… Sasha Fierce” and “Dangerously In Love,” achieved 7x Platinum each, further cementing her enduring legacy as a music powerhouse.
Beyoncé’s latest record-breaking moment reaffirms her position not only as a trailblazer in the music industry but also as a cultural icon whose influence continues to span generations.
