Blackface Addresses Ongoing Feud with 2Face
Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, widely known as Blackface, a prominent dancehall singer and former member of the disbanded Plantashun Boiz, recently spoke out about the longstanding feud between him and his former bandmate, 2Face (now known as 2Baba). Blackface attributed the ongoing tension to what he perceives as 2Baba’s inferiority complex.
In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Blackface clarified that he maintains a positive relationship with Faze, another former member of Plantashun Boiz, but cited 2Baba as the source of their continued discord.
While addressing the situation, Blackface expressed his willingness to extend forgiveness to 2Baba for any wrongdoings, whether intentional or unintentional. He also called on 2Baba, who gained fame with his hit song “African Queen,” to do the same and mend the strained relationship between them.
Blackface’s words on the podcast signalled his desire to move past the longstanding feud and encouraged reconciliation with his former bandmate.
