Blake Lively Apologizes for Photoshop Joke Directed at Catherine, Princess of Wales

Following the revelation of Catherine, Princess of Wales’ battle with cancer, actress Blake Lively has issued an apology for her earlier social media post mocking the royal’s “photoshop fails.”

The 42-year-old princess, married to Prince William and mother to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, disclosed her cancer diagnosis on Friday evening after being absent from public engagements since January.

During this period, Kensington Palace released a photograph of the princess with her children for Mother’s Day, which was later revealed to have been edited. Taking a jab at the speculation surrounding Catherine’s absence, Blake, 36, posted on social media, humorously attributing her own hiatus to announcing new products.

However, upon learning of Catherine’s health struggles, Blake swiftly retracted her post and issued a public apology on Instagram. She expressed deep regret for her earlier remarks, acknowledging that they were inappropriate in light of the princess’s cancer diagnosis.

In her apology, Blake conveyed her mortification over the situation and extended heartfelt wishes to Catherine and her family. The actress emphasized her remorse and reiterated her support for those affected by illness.

The post in question has since been removed from Blake Lively’s social media accounts, signaling her commitment to rectifying the situation and showing respect for the princess’s privacy during this challenging time.
