Blaqbonez Hints at Retirement, Plans Future in Entertainment Industry
Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has revealed plans to retire from music within the next three to five years. The popular artist, known for hits like “Like Ice Spice,” shared this during a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
Blaqbonez explained that his goal is to build enough financial security and leave a lasting legacy before stepping back from active music. “I will keep doing my music to the point where I know that I’ve saved up something that would last me for a lifetime; enough legacies,” he said. “And I project I will be done in the next three to five years.”
Discussing his post-retirement plans, Blaqbonez shared his intention to remain within the entertainment industry. “I will find another job in the entertainment industry. I would probably work as a consultant to a record label,” he added.
Blaqbonez, who has made a name for himself with his unique style and outspoken persona, is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s most innovative rappers.
