Burna Boy Collaborates with TitoM, Yuppe, and S.N.E for ‘Tshwala Bam’ Remix

Nigerian Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy has teamed up with South African musicians TitoM, Yuppe, and S.N.E for the highly anticipated remix of their hit song “Tshwala Bam.”

Rumours of the collaboration have been circulating on social media, generating excitement among fans globally. The buzz intensified after a leaked video showed Burna Boy working with TitoM, Yuppe, and S.N.E during their recent visit to Nigeria.

Burna Boy, known for his global appeal, expressed his enthusiasm for the project. “Jumping on the ‘Tshwala Bam’ remix was a no-brainer for me. It’s a track that resonates with everyone, and I’m thrilled to bring my energy to it and connect with fans in a whole new way,” he said.

TitoM, fresh off their win at the Metro FM Best Viral Challenge, explained the choice of collaborator. “To take the original to greater heights, we sought someone with global appeal and a commitment to enhancing the song’s essence. Burna Boy was the perfect fit,” they stated.

Yuppe added, “Working with Burna Boy was an exhilarating experience. He brought his unique touch to the track while ensuring a comfortable, collaborative environment.”

The much-awaited remix was released on Wednesday. Known for his ability to elevate tracks through remixes, Burna Boy infused his signature style into “Tshwala Bam,” following his successful remixes of hits like Master KG’s “Jerusalema” and Asake’s “Sungba.”

Originally released on February 23rd, “Tshwala Bam” and its accompanying dance challenge have captivated global audiences, amassing 11.5 billion TikTok views and over 100 million streams across digital platforms. The track has topped global charts, including number 9 on the Global Shazam charts and high positions on Spotify Viral charts in multiple countries.

The viral dance challenge has been embraced by celebrities such as Kai Cenat, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Jayda Wayda, Shenseea, Saucy Santana, Poco Lee, and Kamo Mphela. “Tshwala Bam” has become the largest Amapiano record of 2024 and the first South African song in three years to reach number one on Apple Music in Nigeria.

Burna Boy continues to captivate audiences on the second leg of his “I Told Them” tour, bringing the same electrifying energy to the “Tshwala Bam” remix.
