Captan Claims Shatta Wale Helped Burna Boy During Difficult Times In Ghana

Ghanaian musician Captan has alleged that his former record label boss, Shatta Wale, played a key role in assisting Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy during some challenging moments in Ghana.

Speaking during a recent podcast appearance, Captan claimed that Burna Boy was once arrested in Ghana for allegedly smoking cannabis and that Shatta Wale intervened to secure his release.

According to him, Shatta Wale instructed members of his team, including himself, to help facilitate Burna Boy’s release from police custody.

Captan also alleged that there was another occasion when Burna Boy sought refuge with Shatta Wale and his associates while facing threats from certain individuals.

He claimed that the Ghanaian dancehall star and his team provided accommodation and support to the Nigerian singer during the period and also helped resolve the situation.

Reflecting on his current relationship with Burna Boy, Captan said they are no longer on good terms, attributing the strain to the fallout between Burna Boy and Shatta Wale.

Despite the reported disagreement, Captan maintained that both he and Shatta Wale would be willing to reconcile with Burna Boy if the singer takes the initiative to mend the relationship.

Neither Burna Boy nor Shatta Wale has publicly responded to the claims at the time of reporting.
