GloRilla Promises Fans a New Perspective in Upcoming Music

Memphis-based artist GloRilla is gearing up for a significant shift in her musical approach, revealing a change in tone for her upcoming material.

On Friday (January 5), a fan shared thoughts on GloRilla’s music, stating, “listening to glorilla non-stop in the car she hate n-ggas as much as i do.”

Responding to the tweet, the 24-year-old artist acknowledged the perception and hinted at a different direction for her new tracks. “I’m being a simp on my new shit yall,” she admitted.

In related news, GloRilla recently took on Fabolous, criticizing his comments on the state of female rap during the previous month. Fabolous had expressed his views on the one-dimensional approach he believed many female rappers were taking in their music.

In a July social media post, the Brooklyn native emphasized his love for hearing female rappers discussing real issues and the need for diverse perspectives. GloRilla countered Fabolous’s critique in a GQ cover story from mid-December, pointing out the negative themes often present in male rappers’ content. She argued that both male and female artists cover similar topics but emphasized the disparity in actions, noting that men often rap about killing, robbing, and other criminal activities.

GloRilla’s upcoming music is anticipated to provide listeners with a fresh perspective, showcasing a more introspective and emotive side to her artistry.
