Renowned singer and performer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shared his desire to venture into film or TV series production, following his positive assessment of the recent mini-series titled “She Must Be Obeyed” by Funke Akindele.
In a post on his social media platform, Davido commended “She Must Be Obeyed” as a captivating watch and revealed his aspirations for executive producing a film or series in the near future. Released on September 29, 2023, “She Must Be Obeyed” is a five-part mini-series available on Amazon Prime Video. The series features an ensemble cast of prominent Nollywood talents, including Funke Akindele, Nancy Isime, Lateef Adedimeji, Akah Nnani, Patience Ozokwor, Mike Ezuronye, Veeiye (former BBNaija star), and Waje, among others. Produced and directed by Funke Akindele and her estranged husband JJC Skills through Scene One Productions, the series delves into the lives of three accomplished music stars: SHE, Tito, and X-cite, portrayed by Funke Akindele, Veeiye, and Waje, respectively.
