Davido Issues Warning Amidst Debts and Accusations on Social Media

The renowned Afrobeats artist, Davido, has delivered a stern warning indicating no one should ask for mercy once he decides to retaliate. This statement comes following a series of accusations on social media alleging debts against the singer.

The accusations began when Abu Salam accused Davido of owing him a significant amount, totalling N212 million. Subsequently, Blessing CEO, a popular self-proclaimed relationship expert, took to her Instagram page to accuse Davido of owing N4.5 million to a Lagos celebrity auto dealer, IVD, for a car purchased for his aide, Israel DMW. Moreover, singer Samklef called out Davido for allegedly failing to pay N1 million owed to a University of Lagos (UNILAG) student named Mastermind since 2020.

In response to these allegations, Davido posted on his official social media account, stating, “Make nobody beg me,” implying a lack of willingness to negotiate. Additionally, in another post, the singer hinted that those trolling him were seeking attention, suggesting, “You want to be famous, right?”

The warnings from Davido emerged amid the circulating claims of financial disputes and unpaid debts, prompting a firm response from the artist against potential pleas for leniency.
