Davido Set to Conquer Madison Square Garden with Timeless Concert in 2024
Grammy-nominated Nigerian artist Davido is gearing up to showcase his musical prowess at the renowned Madison Square Garden in the United States in April 2024.
The iconic 19,000-capacity arena, which recently hosted stellar performances by top artists like Wizkid and Burna Boy in 2022, has been revealed as the next destination for Davido’s highly successful Timeless tour. Following the sell-out success at the State Farm Arena for his A.W.A.Y Festival, the Afrobeats sensation aims to solidify his position as one of the genre’s premier stars.
The announcement, featured by American media outlet Billboard, has ignited excitement among fans eager to witness Davido embrace this new challenge with the Madison Square Garden concert.
In an interview with Billboard, Davido shared the significance of the stage for him as an artist, stating, “Seven years ago, I walked past Madison Square Garden and looked at it and said, ‘We gonna come back and shut this down.’ So to be here now, able to play Madison Square Garden, in New York, one of the first cities and fans to embrace my music, at this iconic venue … it’s a dream come true.”
Additionally, Davido confirmed that his musical journey would also take him to Montreal’s Place Bell on April 19, 2024, culminating with a grand finale at Orlando’s Additional Financial Arena on April 24, 2024.
