Davido Slams Blog Over Misleading Headline Linking Him to Kidnappers

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has expressed outrage over a misleading headline that falsely associated him with a group of suspected kidnappers.

A blog on X shared a video of three individuals arrested for kidnapping in Lagos, with a caption that read, “Davido and two others apprehended for kidnapping in Lagos.” The post referenced the nickname of the gang leader, but the phrasing led to confusion among fans, with some believing it was referring to the singer.

Unhappy with the misrepresentation, Davido issued a strong warning against such deceptive reporting, suggesting that consequences would eventually catch up with those spreading false narratives.

Reposting the news on his own platform, the singer wrote, “One day go be one day… Continue. My karma no dey always tey.”
