Diddy Faces New Lawsuit Alleging Sexual Assault of Male Singer
Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of sexually assaulting a male singer, according to a new lawsuit filed by an anonymous plaintiff in Los Angeles.
The lawsuit, brought by high-profile attorney Tony Buzbee, claims that Diddy lured the street performer to a party with promises of a record deal before allegedly drugging and raping him.
Details of the Allegations
The plaintiff, identified as John Doe, says he was performing outside a club in 2022 when a man wearing Bad Boy Records branding approached him, praised his singing, and invited him to a party hosted by Diddy.
At the event, Diddy allegedly made promises about helping him land a record contract before leading him to a private room. The lawsuit states that Doe began feeling drowsy and euphoric, later realizing he had been drugged.
The filing alleges that Diddy then made sexual advances, forcibly assaulted him orally and anally, and left him incapacitated on the bed. The plaintiff is now seeking compensatory and punitive damages, describing the incident as a “violent sexual assault.”
Diddy’s Response
A representative for Diddy dismissed the claims, calling the lawsuit a “publicity stunt” and stating:
“Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new claim, especially those that are facially ridiculous or demonstrably false. He has full confidence in the facts, and in court, the truth will prevail: that he never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone – man or woman, adult or minor.”
Legal Troubles Mount for Diddy
The lawsuit adds to Diddy’s growing legal battles. The 55-year-old is currently awaiting trial on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for prostitution – charges he has pleaded not guilty to.
His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5.
