Diddy Reportedly Shows Signs of Physical Change in Custody as Trial Approaches
Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly undergone a noticeable physical transformation during his time in custody as he awaits trial on sex trafficking charges.
Though no cameras were allowed in the courtroom during a recent hearing in Brooklyn, a sketch artist captured the music mogul’s altered appearance. According to the illustration, Combs’ once-dark hair now appears fully grey and unkempt, accompanied by a greying beard. Observers also speculate that he may have lost weight during his time at the Metropolitan Detention Center.
Last week, the Bad Boy Records founder appeared in court to request a delay to his upcoming trial, citing a wave of newly added charges. However, the judge denied the request, keeping the current trial timeline intact. Combs and his legal team have not publicly commented on his health or physical condition while in custody.
In a parallel development, Combs recently gained a small legal victory. A federal judge ruled that his legal team can access early drafts of an unreleased memoir reportedly written by his former partner, singer Cassie. The ruling allows Diddy’s lawyers to review specific manuscript versions already held by prosecutors, despite objections from Cassie’s legal team, who argued that the material was irrelevant to the case.
Combs’ team believes the manuscript may contain inconsistencies that could be used to challenge Cassie’s previous statements about their relationship. However, the judge rejected Diddy’s broader subpoena, which sought access to Cassie’s personal diaries, emails, and financial records.
According to court filings, Diddy’s lawyers claim that Cassie had once told the mogul he could pay $30 million to prevent the book’s publication. Cassie has not publicly commented on the claim.
As his trial date draws closer, attention continues to mount on both Combs’ legal battle and the broader implications of the case for the music industry.
