Djokovic Tells Kyrgios the Loser Will Buy the Drinks
Ahead of their Wimbledon final, defending champion, Novak Djokovic has told his opponent, Nick Kyrgios that the loser between them would pays for dinner or drinks on Sunday after the match.
It would be recalled that both Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios, acknowledged enemies just a few months ago, have come closer together thanks to Kyrgios’ defence of the Djokovic during his arrest in Australia for not being vaccinated.
The two Wimbledon finalists have met today on the courts of Aorangi Park and have no shortage of jokes between them ahead of playing each other in Sunday’s showpiece event.
“It’s taken you five years to say something nice about me,” Djokovic declared according to SportKlub as he remains in pursuit of a 7th Wimbledon title
To this, Kyrgios replied: “I defended you when it mattered.”
