Do2dtun Steps Away from Radio After 20-Year Career
Renowned On-Air Personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, popularly known as Do2dtun, has officially retired from radio broadcasting after two decades of entertaining listeners.
The media personality announced his departure in a heartfelt post on Instagram, which has since gone viral.
“20 years on radio, it is time to say goodbye. It is time to leave what I loved and would always love,” he wrote, reflecting on his career milestone.
Do2dtun began his radio journey on November 1, 2004, as an intern at Cool FM Lagos, where he worked under the mentorship of industry icons like Daddy Freeze, the late Dan Foster, and Olisa Adibua. Over the years, he carved out a name for himself as one of the most dynamic voices in Nigerian radio.
“This must be one of the hardest decisions I have made,” he admitted. “I’m fulfilled in my heart that I built a legacy. Oh, my sweet home @coolfmlagos accepted me… dusty, unprepared, and knowing nothing about radio.”
Do2dtun’s departure marks the end of an era for his fans and colleagues, who have celebrated his contributions to the industry. Though he has stepped away from radio, many anticipate his next chapter will be just as impactful.
