Jaywon Accuses Odumodublvck of Clout-Chasing with His Name
Nigerian singer Jaywon has alleged that rapper Odumodublvck is using his name to remain relevant in the music industry.
The tension between the two artists dates back to their public feud in 2024, which led Jaywon to release a diss track targeting the Declan Rice hitmaker.
In a recent interview with Hip TV, Odumodublvck downplayed the conflict, describing their social media exchanges as mere banter and insisting they were on good terms. However, he took a jab at Jaywon by suggesting the singer’s relevance peaks annually when he is invited to perform his hit song This Year during New Year celebrations.

“Forget that banter, Jaywon is my guy. I really love Jaywon. He is relevant because they book him once a year,” Odumodublvck remarked during the interview.
Jaywon, displeased with the comments, responded on his X (formerly Twitter) handle, accusing Odumodublvck of repeatedly mentioning him in interviews to stay in the spotlight.
“Odumodu will always mention my name in his interviews because that’s the only way he stays relevant,” Jaywon wrote. “Even he admits that none of his other beefs trend because they’re not Jaywon.”
He further dismissed the notion of an ongoing feud, advising Odumodublvck to focus on his own career instead of fixating on him.
“I can’t stand the fact that Odumodu thinks I’m beefing with him. Yo, get over it and focus on your career, bro,” Jaywon added.
The exchange has reignited public interest in the artists’ rivalry, with fans weighing in on the ongoing back-and-forth.
