Edwin van der Sar: Ajax Provide Update on Man Utd Legend After Suffering Brain Haemorrhage

Ajax Football Club has provided the latest update on Edwin van der Sar after the Manchester United legend was reportedly rushed to hospital on Friday suffering a cerebral haemorrhage.
Van der Sar was on holiday in Croatia and has since been admitted to the ICU.

However, in a statement via its Twitter handle on Friday evening, Ajax provided an update on the legendary goalkeeper’s situation.

“On Friday, Edwin van der Sar had a bleeding around his brain. He’s currently in hospital in the intensive care unit and is in a stable condition,” Ajax’s statement read.

“Once there is more concrete information, an update will follow.

“Everyone at Ajax wishes Edwin a speedy recovery. We’re thinking of you.”
