Femi Adebayo Celebrates as ‘Jagun Jagun’ Earns 12 Nominations at 2024 BON Awards

Nigerian actor Femi Adebayo’s blockbuster Netflix Original, Jagun Jagun, has garnered an impressive twelve nominations at the 2024 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards. The epic Yoruba film, released in 2023, continues to receive critical acclaim, securing nominations in key categories.

The categories include Best Indigenous Film, Best Supporting Actor, Director of the Year, Best Use of Makeup, Best Cinematography, Best Costume, Best Actor, Best Sound, Best Soundtrack, Best Production Design, Best Special Effect, and Best Actress.

Reacting to the nominations on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Femi Adebayo expressed his excitement and gratitude. “Wow Guys! We’ve done it Again!! Delighted to announce that JAGUN JAGUN – THE WARRIOR (a Netflix Original Movie) has been nominated for Twelve (12) Awards at the 2024 BON Awards,” the actor wrote, celebrating the movie’s latest achievement.

This recognition comes just days after Jagun Jagun also earned seven nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), further cementing its place as one of Nollywood’s standout films in recent years.
