French Montana Avoids Questions About Diddy Allegations, Walks Away at LAX
French Montana, longtime affiliate of Diddy’s Bad Boy label, declined to comment when asked about the multiple allegations currently surrounding the music mogul.
The rapper, who was approached by paparazzi during a recent stop at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), appeared in good spirits as the conversation initially centered around the Met Gala. However, when questioned about Diddy’s legal troubles, French promptly ended the exchange, saying, “Come on, man,” before walking away.
Following the interaction, a member of French’s security team requested that the reporter omit the last part of the exchange. However, since the encounter was broadcast live, the footage had already circulated.
French Montana has faced his share of controversy recently. Last year, he was criticized for bringing Andrew Tate – an internet personality awaiting trial on human trafficking charges – onstage during his performance at the Beach, Please Festival in Romania.
During the event, French introduced Tate to the crowd, praised him, and announced they had collaborated on a podcast. He also dedicated a song to Tate, who encouraged the audience to chant “Escape the Matrix” in an attempt to set a world record.
Despite cheers from the festival crowd, the collaboration sparked backlash online, with many fans calling French’s decision “disgusting” and “embarrassing.” French later deleted the Instagram post that highlighted the moment.
