I Fell into Depression After Buzz Around My Song, ‘Ramadan’ Faded – Tolibian
Nigerian singer Tolibian has revealed that he battled depression following the decline in attention around his breakout single, Ramadan.
The track gained massive popularity during the 2025 Ramadan season, becoming a social media sensation and sparking a remix collaboration with rapper Odumodublvck. However, the momentum eventually slowed, leaving the singer grappling with emotional fallout.
In a recent chat with content creator Akin Abolade, Tolibian shared, “After the buzz of Ramadan faded, I became depressed at some point.”
Despite the emotional challenges, the artist remains hopeful. He described Ramadan as an “evergreen” song and expressed confidence that it will trend again during future Ramadan celebrations.
Tolibian also reassured fans of his commitment to his music journey, stating he will continue to work hard until he secures another hit.
