Odumodublvck Addresses Misogyny Allegations
Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has responded to allegations of misogyny stemming from lyrics in his 2023 collaboration with Shallipopi titled Cast.
In the controversial verse, Odumodublvck suggested that some women may resort to transactional relationships to afford wigs and luxury handbags, prompting backlash from listeners who viewed the lyrics as degrading to women.
Speaking in a recent interview with The Beat FM in Lagos, the hip-hop artist dismissed the accusations as baseless. “In the last year, I am the artist that has featured the most women in the game. What kind of misogynist is that? That’s a fake one,” he said.
Odumodublvck emphasized that his track record of working with female musicians stands in contrast to the claims, adding that his collaborations are a testament to his support for women in the industry.
