‘I’ve Never Toasted a Girl in My Life’ – IK Ogbonna Brags
Nollywood actor, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, widely known as IK Ogbonna, has disclosed that he has never initiated a romantic pursuit towards a woman throughout his life.
Despite being previously married to Sonia Morales before their marriage ended in 2019, the actor asserted that he has never made a formal approach to a woman for a romantic relationship.
During a recent episode of the Petite Talks podcast, IK Ogbonna explained that most of his relationships have typically evolved from friendships, emphasizing that he finds it challenging to initiate romantic advances.
He stated, “As funny as it may sound, I’ve never toasted a girl in my life. I don’t know how to do it. It’s not about being a fine boy.”
The actor attributed his preference for developing romantic relationships from friendships to his upbringing and social interactions. According to him, many of his relationships started as friendships, and over time, they naturally transitioned into romantic partnerships.
IK Ogbonna did, however, admit to engaging in light flirtation with his ex-wife, Sonia Morales, on social media before their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship.
